Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

  • Act as key customer contact window and perform reservation and load planning functions which cover timely creation of cargo bookings in Cargo Spot with accuracy and correct rating; preparation and finalization of load plan for maximum utilization of aircraft capacity; production of cargo manifest and its distribution to relevant parties.
  • Support sales and marketing activities related to client airlines; prepare and disseminate relevant product and marketing information such as flight schedule, rates, and shipment information to customers in a timely manner.  
  • Collaborate with customers and airlines principal to drive dynamic flight plan that meets sales and demand forecast; and to manage proper control of ULDs;
  • Coordinate and communicate with Scheduling team in Head office for all sales and operational matters related to schedule change or cancellation, load plan, etc. in a timely manner.  
  • Coordinate and communicate with Ground Handling Agent for all operational matters including, but not limited to, cargo acceptance status, change of flight plan and load plan, and other shipment related issues and provide necessary solutions if necessary. 
  • Monitor customers’ performance on shipment irregularity, late tendering of shipments and documents and communicate to agents for corrective actions;  
  • Handle customers’ requests and complaints and provide necessary support and service in a professional manner;
  • Compile market intelligence, sales and operational data and prepare relevant reports to management on weekly and monthly basis;
  • Perform shift duties, and any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
  • Working location: Tsim Sha Tsui & Airport office at Asia Airfreight Terminal

Requirements:

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • University Graduate or Diploma in Supply Chain & Logistics industry preferable
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience related to cargo handling in airlines industry or ground handling agents
  • Holder of RAR & DGR certificates is preferred
  • Experience in industry such as transportation, logistics, airlines, airport operations, freight forwarding or express is advantageous
  • Knowledge in Cargo Spot system is advantageous
  • Fresh graduate / candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Capacity Management Officer, on the job training will be provided.
  • Tactful in handling customers, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Good communications skills, detail-minded, patient, able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and a good team player
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to work in the aviation industry
  • Proficient in PC applications and MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
